Very special dress; the grape color is sensational
Beautiful dress and exquisite color. Perfect for celebrations and parties. Fabric seems a bit fragile as it has the most delicate almost smock-like threads running through it in tiered intervals. Owners will have to take care not to snag the threading. It runs large. I had originally ordered a PS and it was much too big, especially under the arms. PP fits well. Overall, it’s a stunning dress. Looking forward to getting the matching shawl.
Very grateful this dress came in a petite version. So many of the EF clothes now do not. I would urge EF to at least maintain (or better, expand) the petite section. The average American woman is 5’3.5” and many of us are still even shorter. EF is one of the few higher-end brands that offers something for those of us who are on the short side. But EF’s selection of petites seems to get smaller each and every season. The department stores that carry EF rarely, if ever, carry any petites in-house or online. EF management: Please revisit this.
Similarly, may I make a plea to EF designers to end or curtail the era of the short “boxy “ top/sweater look. Very few folks other than statuesque professional models look good in “boxy” designs. Thanks!

Pretty dress
I love this addition to the EF washable-silk dress collection. Fabric is light and lustrous and wonderfully packable, making it great for summer travel. The adjustable straps are a plus for me (I plan to wear it with a strapless bra). Grape is such a pretty color.
