Improved Fit
The 696 has been my go to pant for a long, long time and I have been saddened that the fit seemed to be evolving away from its roots has the slim fit option. I am very happy to report that in my most recent purchases of the Ink and Ebony colors this trend seems to have been reversed and the slim, but not clingy, trim fit restored. I am 5' tall and wear a PS and I am really loving these new pants. Side note, I really like the new Ebony color but I see it didn't sell well in its inaugural debut. I hope EF gives it another chance next year. They seem to be phasing out our old standby Graphite and I think the Ebony is a worthy successor. To my eye it has flattering blue undertones and like Graphite plays wells with many other colors. It would be a shame if it is a flash in the pan. EF always stuck with their colors for awhile so you could build a collection of a favored hue.

If I could own only one pair of pants, it would be
These pants are perfect. Lightweight but not see-through , they don't stretch out while wearing, flattering, and comfortable. Worth every penny!

These pants were blah on me. There was nothing wrong but the color was too neutral for my skin tone. There are more pants to find in the future.

My wardrobe staple
I have these pants in white, black and blue. Wash and wear; light dryer. They are flattering, lightweight, don't stretch out and travel well.

Perfect wardrobe staple
These crepe pants are irreplaceable. They are such a rich deep black, are very forgiving, washable, and last forever. I have these in multiple colors, some pairs as long as 7 yrs. ago.

Hope these become my go to pants!
I think I have worked out I can pay this higher price for a pair of pants that fit well and are super comfortable. they are not quite as wrinkle free as I had hoped but a cool iron worked well.
