Summer perfect
I love this fabric. It is reminiscent of seersucker but more interesting. The bluette color (leaning more to the purple than blue) is beautiful. I have purchased several dresses in this fabric over the past few years, and they are my go-to on those hot/humid days when you don't want anything to touch you. The lines on the dress, while full, make it flattering and the forward on-seam pockets (not on the side which is also very flattering) are in a perfect position. You might find that there is some wrinkling if you are sitting but it hangs out. Wash and drip dry and you are ready to go. It is narrower at the top so if you are curvy and in between sizes err on the side of caution and get the larger size. It is bra friendly and the elastic at the hem adds an interesting touch. I have another dress with this hem and was hesitant about it, but I get a lot of compliments and it is delightfully comfortable.

Fit on top but splayed out like a tent on the bottom. Color was good but fabric didn't drape well. On seam pockets were lower than most dresses. Not good for petite, small body types. Easy to return.

LONG LANTERN DRESS
The lightweight cotton feels comfortable and the color of bluette looks gorgeous in the summer. The lantern design causes too much fabric on the lower portion of the dress. I'm 5'6"/133lbs, selected PS, perfect on shoulder and chest.

I bought 2😉
Bought this in black (online only item) and loved it so much I bought it in “bluette”, a lovely blue with a hint of violet- both good with my grey hair. I’m a slim 5’-3”, 36-32-38, 125# and a PS is just right especially around the neck & arms; the rest of this dress is pretty forgiving. The little fashion twist of the lantern hemline takes it from being just another ordinary sleeveless dress.
